The Icon is a revitalization of a previously built 18 storey office building located by Dundas St West and University Avenue.

The pre-existing lower floors will be completely renovated to feature a new podium with tree motif while the upper wholes will be refurbished with a mixture of window wall and curtain wall. Office units will be retained as the lower 18 storeys.  An additional 37 storeys will consist of over 400 residential units that will be added onto the former structure previously known as the Global House.
